Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. In the case of digital content not delivered on a physical data carrier (e.g., online exercises, e-books, videos), the withdrawal period begins with the conclusion of the contract.

You can notify us by post or by e-mail with a clear declaration of your decision to withdraw from the contract. You may use the attached sample withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not required. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the notification before the withdrawal period expires.

 

Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we are obliged to refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the date we receive your withdrawal notice. We will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless otherwise expressly agreed with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged fees for the refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back. You must send or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day you notify us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

 

Exclusion or early expiration of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of digital content not supplied on a physical data carrier if the execution of the contract has already begun after you have expressly consented to this and confirmed that you lose your right of withdrawal once the execution begins.

 

Returns and condition of goods
Please return books only in proper condition. A return is only possible if the book is undamaged, not written in, and has not been used beyond normal handling. If the returned item shows clear signs of use (e.g., handwritten notes, dog-eared pages, stains, or tears), we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount or to refuse the return if the condition exceeds normal inspection. The buyer is liable for any loss in value if it results from handling that was not necessary for checking the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the item.

 

Complaints about damaged delivery
If the product is damaged or defective upon delivery, please contact us immediately via email at admin@deutsche-sprache.com. We will promptly arrange for a replacement or refund.
